Class Announcements

Class of 1999
A Flyer on Senior Week is due out in January. It will include information on Graduation tickets.
ACLS classes will be held in Jan., Feb. and Apr.
Mar 2-3 USMLE Step 2, bar event to follow.
Mar. 18th Match Day, Lunch and Party that evening.
May 7th Pick up Cap/Gown/Yearbook/Tickets.
May 11th Essex House Party.
May 12th Grad. Alley downtown.
May 13th Graduation university wide in AM Washington Square Park. Medical School only Avery Fisher Hall.

Class of 2000
The LCME committee on Medical Students held its preliminary meeting last week. They will be meeting on Thursdays through May. They will bring a report to Student Council the following Tuesdays.

Class of 2001
The Lottery may be done on computer this year. More information due in the future.
A packet containing broad career decisions checklist is due in mail boxes in January.

Class of 2002
Ski Trip planning is underway.

Old Business:

Security: A letter written by Eric will be sent to Security regarding the problems with residence halls. This will ask the security staff to check ID's of all people whom the security staff does not recognize.

New Business:

Fax Machine: Student Council voted 9-3-2 (for, against, abstain) to buy a fax machine. The specifics of which type will be discussed in future meetings.

Budget: Doug informed council that Andy (treasurer) would like us to clarify some of our descriptions and budget allowances specifically IOI's. He is also interested in looking at the records from previous years.

Wiring of Skirball: Dr. Nachbar is working on obtaining an IOI for the analysis and estimate of wiring Skirball. The cost of wiring is different from the initial estimate due to advances in technology.

Mental Status: Mental Status production underway.

The next Student Council meeting will be January 5th.
