Equip. sale went well. Order forms due Nov. 19th.
Clerkship Lottery Committee Meeting w/ C. Foster and Dean Abrams. If system goes well
it will be used from here on in.
Class meeting was excellently attended.
Class of 2001
Pancake dinner 5:30 Monday. $5 for charity. Thanksgiving party to follow.

Housing Housing subcommittee meeting Nov. 19th.
Merger Update from Dean Cohen: Mt. Sinai will be an affiliation of NYU. Their Dean will be named by the Pres. Of NYU as will some of their professors. They will not be under the by-laws of NYU. We will still remain an administrative unit of NYU undergrad. The By Laws will still apply. The one change in this regard is that we will form a foundation for management of our own endorsements.
Study Space Update from Dean Cohen: He mentioned the study space issue as part of the general space crunch in NYU Medical Center. The total study seat count is 35 in the 24hr room and 25 in coop care. He confirmed that Alumni Hall C will definitely become student study space once child psyche leaves. This was a promise on his part, but he admitted that there is no way he can promise that the next dean can keep this promise. He also tentatively promised that coop care will not be taken away before Child Psyche leaves. The student council once again issued the demand for enough study space to seat 160 students or a full class. The Student council respected his promise but was tentative due to the many broken promises in the past.
Holiday Party: Last year the budget was too expensive. "it was like Ishtar".
Dean's Search New committee possibly being formed. Three faculty recommended by the Student Council: Dr. Lenus, Dean Levin, and Catonese.
