Class of 1999

Class of 2000
Class meeting Scheduled for Nov. 23rd if Dean Glickman is available or Nov. 9th if not.
Switch party is set to included Cheetah party. The cover for 3rd and 4th years is paid for if you picked up a ticket.

Class of 2001
Class meeting has went OK but most people were not into the meeting because it was just after the exam.
Diagnostic equipment sale still set for Wed. Nov. 11th 3:00-4:00. Fourth years (and third years) are invited to attend and offer advice.
Michael Stone on the Lottery clerkship committee will get bulletin board space.
Yes, there is a thermostat in Schwartz E, F and the Coles classrooms that can be controlled by anybody.
The issue of hardwiring Skirball has been reintroduced and will be addressed at an upcoming meeting.
Lemon Bar party went well.
Holiday dinner is tentatively scheduled for Dec. 4th.

Class of 2002
Halloween Party went well there were a few problems with leftover drink tickets. Speak to Manish if you have a lot of leftover drink tickets.
Pursuing the possibility of adding e-mail addresses to the "Address Book."
Pancake dinner will now be delayed because Dr. Bogart and Mel will be unable to attend.
A deal has been negotiated with "Another Bar" on the corner of 2nd and 30th for a deal on drinks Sunday-Thursday, just show your ID.

Old Business:

Clinical Sub-Committee of the Curriculum Committee: The committee met, the primary issue that they discussed involved dealing with the "Musts and Shoulds" of the LCME. The issue discussed was Equivalency at all sites. The methods discussed to do this include: Surgery and Psychiatry were noted as the areas with the most problems. Pediatrics was noted as the best area, and the study will focus on why pediatrics works.

By-Laws Amendments: Tom's by-law was tabled due to his absence

Proposed Amendment to the Student Council By-Laws: Tom's Amendment on "Clarification of authorization to spend class money" was tabled until everybody had a chance to review it.

The Lounge The housing department has decided to pay for the foosball table. (They had originally agreed to pay for only half.) So by a vote of 12 for, 0 against, and 1 abstain the student council will buy a DVD player and VCR tape player for the good TV room, if housing agrees to bolt down the old VCR on another TV and the new players on the good TV.
