Old Business:

Study Space update: Fish Bowl will become Grad. Student Lounge during the day, open to everyone. Sackler organizational meetings will take place there. Council members voiced fears of already limited space and an idea was raised to at least maintain our name with the space. A motion was passed to talk to Joel and Grad. Student leaders and offer co-involvement in this study area. Motion passed 13-2-1. Amendment: no administration meetings there EVER.

Terry Bischoff Meeting update: Discussed student Council Plan on how to deal with study space issue. She was flabbergasted..

CORE update: Joel announced request for Fish Bowl for Grad.Students, somewhat belittling our position. Mel announced strong support for study space issue.

New Business:

Merger News: Ethan & Gerard meeting with Dr. Cohen before meeting with Dr. Oliva.

Student Council Decisions on Study Space Issue: Proposal passed to direct a letter to Dr. Cohen outlining history of study space issue and demanding a decision in our favor. A resolution passed to carry out appropriate measures to force a restructuring of student/administration relationships. This was all after more radical talks of immediately denouncing all participation in student positions in student/administration committees.
