Deans Letter is now available for your perusal.

Class of 2001
Nicole will be contacting Deb about setting up ACLS earlier for next year. Nicole will be meeting with Catanese to plan next years Deans Letters etc.

Class of 2003
Welcome to the newly elected officers Sean Burns President, Anuja Sanghvi Vice President and Kevin Kaplan & Marianne Moon Class Representatives.

Old Business:

Student Abuse - Student Council voted (1-11-4) (For, Against, Abstain) thus not to adopting a policy where students would first contact a "Class Honor Board" after an infraction. Student Council voted (13-0-3) For, Against, Abstain to have class officers provide assistance and advisement before students approach the Dean for Student Affairs with a formal complaint. It is not necessary for students to go through Student Council Officers.

LCME report - Eric provided a sneak peak of the Committee on Medical Students report to keep Student Council up to date on their progress.

New Business:

Representatives to the Curriculum Committee - Eric will work with Sean to get volunteers from the first year for this committee.

Meeting start time - Meetings will continue to start at 6:15 due to strong attendance. Brian thanks everyone.

Coles conference rooms - Brian and Shirley will look into getting security signs for the Coles building instructing people how to call security and that rooms are not to be locked with students inside.

Humanistic Medicine - Student Council voted (15-1-0) For, Against, Abstain to allow humanistic medicine to use the TV room in Rubin Lounge Mondays from 6-7pm.
