Deb is working to have the ACLS class offered before students do their Sub-I so they feel more comfortable with their patients during their Sub-I. The yearbook staff needs help. There is a committee formed to look at why 1/3 of residents are female while 2/3 are male. The site selection meeting is postponed until September when Dr. Henry returns.

Rubin Gym - Beda, who runs the gym, approached Student Council requesting that all future payments for gym use be placed in a Student Council account. Then he will be able to pay vendors in a reasonable period of time. Student Council supported examination of the idea. Beda and Manish will continue to negotiate a deal with the Dean's Office.
Application Handbook - Ann Hearn and Jason Schneider approached Student Council for our support of their recommended changes to the application handbook. We will support them in their efforts to improve the book.
Alumni C - A request was made for an art showing in Alumni C on September 30th. Student Council denied the request because we feel that nearly any activity in the space will be disruptive to studying. Furthermore, we were concerned for the precedent this may establish.
Rubin Lounge - Security and all other programs that have access to Rubin Lounge have been notified that the lounge is a medical student space. This may unfortunately be too late, as it appears the South Park game is missing.
Student Health - The Deans office is aware of our concerns about the possible location change of student health. We will continue to pursue the issue in the coming months.
Budgeting - The budgets are in their final stage of approval. After they are approved Joe O will distribute them to club leaders.
Leadership Meeting - There is a leadership meeting over the first weekend in October. If any Student Council members are interested in attending please see Brian.
Christian Fellowship - The club asked for speaker funds for an early September conference. The amount was larger then we could fund especially on short notice. However, Student Council offered an alternative solution of converting their Fall IOI-D into cash for speaker transportation etc.
