Class Announcements

Class of 2000
Last day for NRMP was June 30th. ERAS packets have arrived. Registration says they will deal with all of the "Firewall" problems and make the program work. The Clinical Correlations people have Felix's phone number to get in touch with him for orientation activities. Class meeting went well. Deb, Dr. Henry and Ben Linas are meeting for the Off-Site Committee to establish a new policy for how much time students can spend at off campus sites. This should be ready for the class of 2001.

Class of 2001
There were not as many problems with the boards as originally implied. The room for scrubs has not been open when it should be lately. If you have a problem call the number that is just inside of the door.

Class of 2002

Old Business:

Computers - Ilseung Cho and David Hu will be the student representatives on the Firewall and Y2K committees.

Bally's - We will retry again in the fall when the new students arrive.

Surgery Chair - There is still another candidate for the position.

Rubin Lounge - Housing approved all of the repairs to the Lounge. They should be made in the coming weeks.

Alumni C - The water cooler has arrived and the garbage cans are on the way.

New Business:

Clubs - The Medical Spanish Student Club (11-0-0) and the Humanistic Medicine Club (10-0-0) both applied for and received club status. They are now eligible to apply for funding. The Medical Student Aviation Club has submitted an application. We would like to meet with them to clarify their mission statement.
