Class Announcements

Class of 1999
Senior week events continue.

Class of 2000
Nicole and Deb are working on developing a new process for site assignments. Congratulations to Deb, Mike, Jess and Dave in their elections. Congratulations to the seniors and we wish them all the best in the future.

Class of 2001
Nicole will be administering the questions for the clerkship lottery this Friday. Spring Fling is this Friday.

Class of 2002
Feedback for Module III has identified some concerns by the students. The faculty is attempting to work with the students to find a solution.

MD/PhD
An informal dinner will be scheduled soon for elections and LCME surveys.

Old Business:

Mission Statement - Dean Levin read our comments on the Mission Statement and the committee will attempt to clarify several clauses.

Bally's - Manish spoke to management at Bally's and is in the middle of negotiations with them. They would like to know our interest before negotiations continue. Manish is planning to work with Henry to develop a web registration system.

New Business:

Eric's By-law- Student Council Members picked up a copy of the amendment regarding elections processes so they can have a week to look at it.

Housing is planning to hang the moving list on May 14th 1999 if not sooner.

Meeting of the Student Life Committee on May 5th in the Deans Large Conference room at 11:30.

The DR's orchestra is playing this coming Monday May 10th at 7:30 in Farkas in honor of the seniors.

Student Clubs - A tentative meeting has been set up for May 24th to orient new club leaders and teach them how to write up there budgets, including the new IOI procedures.

Rubin Lounge - There was no objection to the NTSA using the Lounge for a party on May 12th at 6:00 or the Fourth Years using it May 7th as an alternative rain site.
