Old Business:

Recycling: Tom has acquired 6 recycling bins to be placed in student locations around the medical center.

New Business:

Meeting with the Faculty Council: In a meeting with the Faculty Council many issues regarding student life (such as wiring Skirball, residence halls, etc.) were presented. While this may not be the perfect venue this will continue to reemphasize the need to reinstate CORE.

Graduation: Students have voiced there regret that faculty will not be able to sit on the platform at graduation. The Dean's office said that this may be possible in the future however, it is too late to get them the proper attire. It was proposed by several students, that module directors in the first two years and course directors from the last two years be invited. This would be 15-20 faculty members.

Discounts at the new Bally's/Movies/Borders complex : Manish is planning to approach the management at the new building on Second Avenue to arrange discounts for students at all of the stores.

Mission and Objectives: After beginning the review of the Missions and Objectives of the Medical School, it was decided that we should find out why certain things were changed before an in depth discussion of those issues begins. Questions were to be addressed to Eric so that he could e-mail Dean Levin with these questions.
