Class Announcements

Class of 1999
Post-Match Party tickets on sale now for March 18th now at Jet.
Class meeting tonight to fill out the LCME survey.

Class of 2000
Deadline for movement of clerkships is March 23rd.
The site selection list may be changed so that everyone will go off-site once before people begin to go a second time.

Class of 2001
March 18th Computer Lottery demo 6:15-7 in Schwartz E Dinner and LCME survey to follow.
Lottery April 12th-22nd.
Nicole and Joe are developing clerkship survival cards, which should be available soon.

Class of 2002
Watch for Class elections, LCME survey, housing lottery and dinner (lunch) 6th.

MD/PhD
Photo–essay of recent events is being composed and should be available soon.

Old Business:

Library: Stuart Spore's denied our second request to have a 24-hour printer in Coles monitored by library staff citing ability to monitor the printer as the primary concern.

Wiring Skirball: Eric sent a letter to John Deeley reemphasizing our interest in having Skirball wired.

New Business:

Finance and Investment Budget: Budget adjustment passed (7-1-4) (for-against-abstain) allowing the Finance and Investment Club some liberty in spending their $250 transportation allotment.

Students on Search Committees: Deb and Eric sent a letter to Dean Glickman expressing our concern that there are no students on either the Medicine or Surgery search committees.

Curriculum Retreat: Eric, Ethan, Deb, Demetre, and various other students from the curriculum committees went to the Curriculum retreat last weekend. It was productive as more moderate modifications of the curriculum were suggested.

Mental Status: Demetre has completed and issue of Mental Status!!!! It will be distributed starting tonight.
