Class Announcements

Class of 1999
Post-Match Party March 18th now at Jet.
Class meeting on March 16th to fill out the LCME survey.

Class of 2000
120 people completed the LCME survey. Clerkship lottery also went well.
Class meeting, elections plus dinner on April 22nd.
Meeting with 4th years for dinner on April 9th.

Class of 2001
March 18th Computer Lottery demo 6:15-7 PM in Schwartz F Dinner and LCME survey to follow.
Formal tickets are currently on sale at Don and Carol's

Housing lottery April 6th
Watch for Class elections, LCME survey at a class dinner.

Old Business:

By-Laws Amendment: Amendment passed (15-0-0) changing the date when new officers take office (excluding student council present) to the first Tuesday after rotations begin.

Library: Stuart Spore's request to have the students monitor a printer in Coles was turned down because the students don't have the resources or the time to monitor a printer.

New Business:

Wiring Skirball: Dr. Nachbar has received two estimates for the wiring, one for the three student occupied floors and one for the entire building. The estimate has been passed along to Dean Deeley, and a letter will be sent to Dean Deeley informing him of the importance of this project to the student body.

Gym funds: Ethan was informed that there is approximately $75,000 in the Gym fund. As of now they don't have access to it because it is supposedly under student council. Ethan will look into the situation.

LCME Student Survey: A photocopying blunder has moved the dispersal date of the LCME survey for first years to a new, yet to be confirmed date.

Budget: Eric, Doug, Andy London, Dean Lesser, Dean Abramson, and Bob Cohen will be meeting in April to discuss various budgetary issues.

Mental Status: Demetre has some articles for mental status and took dates from people to form a calendar.
