The equipment below is owned by Student Council, and available to members of the student body pursuant to the borrowing policy. The categories of equipment and short descriptions are listed below. Contact the appropriate Lendor to borrow.

A/V

The Canon PowerShot A40 is a 2-megapixel digital still camera with built-in flash. Images are stored on the 32 MB card, and can be downloaded to a PC or Mac via the supplied USB cable. Driver software may be required. Video capture is also supported but not recommended for publishing due to low resolution and quality.

The Panasonic AG-DVC30 is a professional 3-CCD DV camcorder. Video is stored on MiniDV tape and can be transferred to other video equipment or a computer via the IEEE 1394 interface. This camera features a 16x Leica lens and an infrared shooting mode. External screens or microphones can be connected via optional adapters.
