About the Emergency Medicine Club
The Emergency Medicine Club at the NYU School of Medicine is devoted
to exposing students to the exciting world of emergency medicine,
and teaching clinical skills. The club sponsors events
throughout the school year as well as resident shadowing the Bellevue
Hospital AES Emergency room. View the pictures of events on the
Cool
Pictures page
The club has 4 leaders who share the scheduling and event coordination
responsiblities. The leaders can be contacted through the Contacts
page.
The club is also produces on-line training materials which can be viewed in the
Skills
section of the website. Also materials will be posted on the ER club bulletin board
throughout the year, as clinical skills drills, such as EKG's.
The Emergency Medicine Club is open to all NYU Medical Students,
without charge for events or membership (and we even often feed
everyone at events). The club is funded by the School of Medicine
by the Student
Council.
